Our IT department plays a crucial role in advancing education by delivering effective technology solutions that support both students and staff.
The IT Team is dedicated to maintaining and supporting the hardware and software applications essential for managing district-wide data and information. Key responsibilities encompass network management and data center operations, including infrastructure and security, financial support for systems like Escape and e-Rate, and responsive helpdesk and technology support for school sites, encompassing tasks such as computer repairs.
Additionally, our IT Team provides essential communication support, overseeing areas such as Voice Over IP (VOIP), video conferencing, wireless technologies, and other platforms. The team manages the district's email system through the Google suite, maintains the school and District websites, and works diligently to bridge the technology gap in education through curriculum integration support. This curriculum support extends to educational software and systems such as Aeries(SIS), NWEA, CalPads, Destiny, Chromebook management and support, staff technology training, and oversight of technology use policies, among various other responsibilities aimed at fostering a technologically enriched learning environment.
